Jefferson County Discovery rates
Harrisonburg-Rockingham Discovery rates
Billing
All ads, coupons (where available), and listings 1/4-page and smaller must be
paid in full with order for each issue. For half-page ads (where available), a
$275 space reservation deposit will be billed upon receipt of contract. The
remaining balance will be billed in full on the first day of the month prior to
the magazine's publication. For full-page ads, a $275 space reservation deposit
will be billed upon receipt of contract. The remaining balance will be billed in
two equal installments, on the first day of the month prior to publication and
on the first day of the publication month.
All invoices are due and payable net 15 days from the date of invoice. Accounts delinquent 30 days will be charged interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum (1.5% per month). Accounts delinquent 60 days are subject to cancellation and will be billed at the appropriate earned rate plus interest as stated. Discounts will not be allowed on accounts delinquent 60 days.
Copyrights
The copyright for all advertising prepared by the publisher remains with, and is the property of the publisher. The copyright for advertising prepared by the advertiser and submitted “camera ready” remains with the advertiser.
Deadlines, Reservations, In-House Art, and Advertising Proofs
Advertising space reservations close four to six weeks prior to cover dates. The publisher must receive advertising materials four weeks prior to cover date. Proofs for advertising developed by the publisher will be provided not later than three weeks prior to cover date. Camera ready advertising should be submitted in electronic format, by the stated deadlines.
